Hello guys! I know I have not been keeping up on my Journal entry lately. I just want to greet you guys an Early Happy Christmas and New Year since I won't be able to do it on the day itself. I would be leaving for Hong Kong in a few hours and will not be back till the 1st. ~lokichaos is kind enough to monitor my account again since I think, I won't be able to check it for over a week.

Hey guys! It's been a month since I last posted something which is quite rare. A few weeks ago, ~kenyuu my friend, asked me if I could be their technical director for the upcoming AOF _{Anime Overload Fiesta} since they would be competing for the group cosplay. I agreed immediately since I am an all supportive mom _{I'm really a mother hen}. So after going to church I immediately went to the convention center to support my friends . But unfortunately I have no camera that day, so I used my old cellphone just to have a short report about them

I kept on dragging ~lokichaos everywhere, making both of our feet hurt like hell. But it was worth it since we found our friends.

By three - thirty, we went inside to fix everything up and rehearse some things before the catwalk. I need to stand guard at the sound system booth, not only to watch but to fix up their sounds as well.

It was really fun watching them, although I haven't got the chance to really post the videos yet. It they are really cool! I them. Good work guys!


At the end, ~lokichaos was tired, well so am I since I haven't got the chance to eat. I saw =z3LLLL there with his friends. They took photos of some of the awesome cosplayers there.

By the end, I went home, picked up by my mom and sissy, in a very hungry state

Yesterday and the day before, I was really pissed of of something _{way to start of the journal neh Nao?}, lucky me I had a friend in the form of Tsu and agreed to go to this day's convention. We met up at her house, well, I really needed to go since when I arrived at our meeting place, she was still asleep. She accompanied me to a shoe store, where I bought my new boots and no... I won't let you see it until I use it for my cosplay. We went to the event proper where I change. I don't want to look really rugged when I arrive, before we met up with ~lokichaos on Starbucks. When we we're talking at the cafe, my mom texted me and told me that she was around the vicinity eating lunch. We went to a Mongolian fast food and my mom was really ecstatic to see Tsu again _{We we're High School Best friends} because it's been years since she last saw her.

You know about quote "shopping = stress reliever"?. Well, it was a stress reliever indeed! Tsu and I went to CSCENTRAL and I bought about five anime DVDs. Bought the whole series of my favorite anime Hunter X Hunter and Shakugan no Shana _{both seasons} which costs me about USD$11.

Since Saturday, the rain is pouring in our country. I woke up late that day about 10 am already but as I looked out the window, I saw that it was still dark, like about 5 am. It was as if the rain would not end. According to our news, the amount of rainfall that we had is equals to the amount of regular rainfall for three months. News had spread out about people being stranded on their houses, land slides had occurred and the electricity was severed due that the placed had a waist height flood.

I was one of the fortunate people who suffered the minimal amount of damage that the rain had cost. But I am so afraid of the people who are not as lucky as I am. I am fretting about the kids that I had a chance to extend help with before had suffered the most. Most of them are blind, the oldest was blind, mute and deaf and had a severe case of shivering when her sickness attacks her, and their caretaker has a malingering foot disease. I haven’t heard from them but I hope that they are okay. The next day, after the storm had passed, Sunday, my family and I went to church and even though our church had no electricity, we still are praising him for giving us the safety and praying that the people, especially the children that suffered from the typhoon be okay and that people would help them.

My family, along with my mom’s company has donated food to those who suffered most. I am very proud to say that my friends who cosplay had volunteered on helping the people who needed it the most. I am appealing to all to help us somehow, even a penny would do. As my friends and I talked about it earlier, if we could buy a $20 wig for ourselves, why not donate it since these people, our fellow Filipinos needed it most.

I personally don’t know how to so donate monetarily so I am going to link you to *behindinfinity as he had most of the coverage taken and how to help. I am also asking for you guys to pray because as of the moment, the news told us that there is another storm brewing. We we’re caught off guard the first time and we are praying that the storm won’t enter our area of responsibility.
